Dr. Dave is the founder and owner of Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic. He attended Walsh University for undergrad, then graduated vet school from The Ohio State University in 1974. Dr. Dave is blessed with a large family including 11 children and 5 grandchildren. His motto for the work he provides at the clinic is "ut prosim" or that I may serve.
Lori started working at the clinic in 1986. She is an owner and registered veterinary technician. She graduated from St. Petersburg College with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology and became a Registered Veterinarian Technician in 2003. Lori and Dr. Dave have 9 children and 5 grandchildren. Her favorite thing about working here is working in surgery and all of the staff. She likes to work on the farm with the cows and plant flowers.
Dr. Mike has been a veterinarian at Soehnlen's since 2015. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University for both undergraduate and veterinary school. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Prior to starting here, Dr. Sparling worked in mixed practice for 7 years. From 1995-2015 he helped start and then worked at a small ER clinic in WV. Dr. Sparling and his wife Gay have 6 children and 2 grandchildren.
Both Dr. Stan and Dr. Dana went to undergrad at Walsh University and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with their Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. They enjoy interacting with the clients and pets here at the clinic as well as running a cow-calf operation with Dave and Lori at home. Stan and Dana are also owners of Soehnlen Embryo Services where they provide cattle reproductive services.
Dr. Travis joined us as a relief veterinarian in March 2023. He is a fourth generation dairy farmer and hosts his own agriculture focused podcast called, Secondairy.
Dr. Faust is a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has vast experience treating dogs, cats, and a wide range of exotic species. Dr. Faust has a particular interest in orthopedic surgery. He has completed advanced training in several specialized orthopedic procedures.
Dr. Faust started providing orthopedic surgeries through the clinic in November 2023.
Cheyanne has been a vet assistant at the clinic for six years now. She runs a small farm with her boyfriend where she raises cattle and pigs. In her spare time she enjoys kayaking, playing with her pigs, and hanging out with friends and family. She has one dog named Frankie. The thing she loves the most about her job is seeing all of the puppies that come in, especially bulldogs.
Leanne started at the clinic in 2018 as a vet assistant. She primarily helps in surgery, but can also be found in exam rooms when needed. In her spare time she rodeos with her horses.
Josh has been working at Soehnlen Vet Clinic since 2020. He graduated from Kent State University, with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in summer 2024. Josh looks forward to providing the best care to your furry friends.

Clarysa has been a veterinary assistant here since 2021. You can find her working at reception, answering phones and in pharmacy. Clarysa has 3 fur babies at home that she loves to go home to. Clarysa enjoys fishing, playing games or just being by a campfire in her free time.
Tishani has worked at the clinic since September of 2021. Her favorite part about working here is seeing all of the different animals and all of the interesting cases. She enjoys hanging out with her family and going on little adventures with her dog, Tommy.
Shakerah has worked at the clinic for about 2 years. She takes care of your pets in boarding as well as assisting in exam rooms. She enjoys crocheting, reading and video games. Shakerah has 3 dogs and 4 cats, of which "Big Stacey" is the boss.
Kate started at Soehnlen's in December 2022. She has 3 cats, 4 dogs, a bunny named Poppy and 3 two-legged children. Animals are her world. You'll hear her baby talking every puppy and kitten. She is truly honored to be part of the clinic and the care she and the others provide. She thanks all for trusting her to care for your pets!

Keri is the office manager at Soehnlen's. She first started working at the clinic in 2018, in the boarding kennel then as a receptionist. When she's not at work, she's spending time with her husband and four children. Her favorite part about working here is helping the day to day run smoothly and seeing all of the puppies.
Abbey has worked at Soehnlen Veterinary Clinic since June 2017. She is one of the front desk receptionists, phone receptionist, and part of boarding staff. Abbey enjoys getting to help clients and their pets, and especially likes getting to know the regular customers. Outside of work she enjoys crafting, kayaking, and spending time with family/friends and her toy Australian shepherd, Lilo.
Rose has been working with Soehnlens since 2017. She is a receptionist either at the front desk or in the back offices. Rose loves her time here too much to call it work or a job. She enjoys meeting our clients and their pets. Rose strives to assure owners that we here at Soehnlens want the very best for their pets. Rose has 2 dogs and 2 cats and in her free time she enjoys finding antiques and other treasures at flea markets and shops.
Mark started working at the clinic in August 2018, in the pharmacy. He always keeps a cute companion in the pharmacy with him as he has a small herd of dogs. In his spare time he's spending time with his wife Tamara, enjoying outdoor activities or relaxing with his dogs.
Miranda has been working at the clinic since August of 2020 as a front desk receptionist. Her favorite thing about working here is her co-workers and getting to see all of the animals come in throughout the day. Some of her favorites are bully breeds and she's got a soft spot for animals with "special needs." She enjoys spending time with her daughter, dogs, cats, reptiles and making people laugh.
Catie has been working at the clinic since September 2020. Her favorite part about working at the clinic is seeing all of the animals. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, helping her sister on her farm, and going kayaking.
Shelly started at the clinic in 2023. She enjoys her job a lot, and the people she works with and of course all of the animals she gets to see all day. Shelly has been married for 33 years. She has 3 boys of her own and 6 grandkids. Outside of work, she enjoys vacations at the beach, and spending time with family and friends. Shelly has 4 dogs, 4 cats, a horse and a rooster that thinks it's a dog.
Julia started working in the clinic early 2023, as a receptionist. She's been married for 39 years with whom she has two sons, and five beautiful grandbabies. In her free time she loves to go motorcycling as much as she possibly can with her husband, be in nature, crafting and being around her family.
Holly has been working at the clinic for almost a year (2023). She adopted a sweet kitty from us early on and has been inseparable ever since. Holly enjoys reading, writing, and finding new music. She's also a skilled painter and hopes to one day retire to Treasure Island in Tampa Bay, surrounded by many different kinds of animals.
Aka Cor-Qui-Qui, is one of the original Soehnlen corgis. She is the mother to our former office dog, Ginger and grandmother to Sheri-lou. You can find her sunbathing in the parking lot or walking around the lobby soliciting belly scratches.
Aka Lou-Lou, is a 3rd generation Soehnlen Corgi. She is the granddaughter to Cori. You will find her following around the staff members that baby her the most.
